印度工商联合会成立于1920年，乃印度历史最悠久的顶尖商会，由印度工商界的高层领袖统领。工商会旗下有6个大型商会，拥有直接或间接会员200000名。
工商会成立了中印商业论坛，且得到了深圳政府的支持和鼓励，并以此通过促进贸易、信息、技术及知识交流等增强两国的合作。
工商会举办研讨会和展览，组织商务代表团互访。
工商会将以知识商会为发展目标，已举办了两届聚焦于信息技术、生物技术的“知识千年峰会”。
Established in 1920, The Associated Chamber Of Commerce＆IndustryOf India(ASSOCHAM), the oldest apex chamber of commerce in India, led by some of the top leaders of Indian trade and industry.
